Property Photography

'A photo tells a thousand words'. Or as I like to say 'A photo sells a thousand properties'. If it's the right photo that is.
The majority of buyers base their first impressions of a potential property on location, price and appearance. If the photographs
marketing your property are not showing it off to its full potential, the buyer may not even think about arranging a viewing.

Have a look at the majority of property websites- estate agents, rightmove, propertybuyer. They all have masses of photo's
displaying what? Doors, dark hallways, portions of rooms, vehicles and clutter. Isn't it awful when you click the link to
see the larger photos or flick through the agents brochure to find you can't make out the front of the house because there
are 3 cars on the drive! With so many properties currently on the market to choose from, buyers don't have the time to view
all of them. They'll make a judgement on which to view from the aforementioned factors; location, price and appearance.
Generally, estate agents task their valuers to take the photo's of properties whilst they are getting the vendor to sign the contract.
They usually take 2-3 minutes, have little or no experience as a photographer and use a standard, compact digital camera. The valuer has
already made his/her commission from the signing of the contract, why should they be bothered about how their photo's portray your property?
They are salesmen/women after all, not photographers. If the images of your property are not up to standard then you need to give me a call.
You will receive professional images for very competitive prices. Property photography is a specialist area of the industry, leave it to the experts.

My Services

As a professional photographer, with thousands of pounds worth of DSLR cameras, wideangle and zoom lenses, tripods, flashguns, 1000 watt studio lights
and reflectors I can provide you with the right images to help you to get those precious viewers through the door. Wideangle lenses (I mainly use the Canon
10mm-22mm if that helps) are wonderful for capturing entire rooms in one image. Less is more. Nobody wants to look at 3 angles of the same room
and try to piece them all together in their head-one shot can do it all. If I don't like what I see through the viewfinder, I won't take the shot!
I will remove vehicles, cuddly toys, dirty dishes, pets-whatever it takes! Everything I do is done with the intention of showing your property at it's best.
It doesn't matter whether you have a 1 bed studio or a 7 bed mansion I have the knowledge and the equipment to give it the 'X' factor.

How It Works
  1. I visit you and explain the services I provide and explain the costs (with no obligation to purchase the service-I'm a photographer, not a salesman!)
  2. I take the photo's, advising you of changes that may help to enhance the images.
  3. I show you the photos on my 20" laptop, giving you advice on which images I think portay your property at it's best (I can use editing software to adjust lighting, colours, sharpness etc.).
  4. You choose which images you would like me to submit to the estate agents.
  5. I submit the images to the estate agents (with your signed consent form authorising their use) who update any present images.
  6. Viewings galore, offers and a quick sale (hopefully!).
  7. Aftersales-I will drop you a line to double-check that you are happy with the images.
